  • Greetings!

2003 is going to be a very exciting year for Team Impact. With 80 + crusades planned, we so look forward to what God is going to do in the lives of people through these life changing crusades.

Read below to see what Team Impact has planned for the new year. God has given us great favor and we will be holding crusades in great churches across the country as well as many overseas events.

    Triple crusades in Springdale, Arkansas!

Never in the history of Team Impact have we done what we are about to do at First Baptist Church, Springdale, AR in April. Dr. Ronnie Floyd has asked us to hold crusades simultaneously at First Baptist Church, The Church at Pinnacle Hills (FBC's second location where Pastor Floyd also pastors), as well as their spanish ministry church.

With this massive outreach, we believe that God is going to do great things in Northwest Arkansas and many thousands of people are going to surrender their lives to Jesus.

Keep First Baptist Church and Team Impact in your prayers as we prepare for this great crusade.

    Colleyville, TX
Also in April, Team Impact will be with Dr. Frank Harber and First Baptist, Colleyville, TX, a vibrant congregation in the Dallas Metroplex.

Since answering the call to pastor First Baptist Church, Dr. Harber has seen the church grow from 400 to 1,800 in attendence in just a little over 12 months.

The Dallas Metroplex is a great harvest field and we are excited about the evangelism opportunities that we have.

The preparations for the crusade at Prestonwood Baptist church are well under way. With over 50 school assemblies scheduled so far and more to be added, Team Impact along with Dr. Jack Graham and the entire Prestonwood staff are praying that God uses this event to see thousands won to Jesus.

This is a crusade you don't want to miss and we are expecting people from all over North Texas to come and hear the life changing message of the gospel.

Please try to attend this historic crusade the first week of February. For details, call 972-820-5356.

Because He died and rose again...
In our travels, Team Impact is able to meet people from all walks of life. From young to old, these people all have a common thread, they need Jesus.

God has given us the gift of eternal life through His son, Jesus. In Romans 10:9, the Bible says that if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. . Click on the link below to see what Jesus has done for you.

    Randall Harris wins Gold.
Team Impact member Randall Harris brought home the Gold when he won the the "Superheavyweight" division at the IPF Junior World Powerlifting Championships in sotchi, Russia, this past fall. Randall was featured on the cover of "Powerlifting USA" magazine and we're very proud of this great accomplishment.

This is the first time an American has won this division in 14 years, so Randall brought the gold back home as he represented the USA in this major competition.

Here is an excerpt from "Powerlifting USA" magazine: "It was the big man with the big lift as USA's Superheavy Randall Harris brought home the gold. It was a great finish for Randall in his last meet as a junior lifter. Randall was concerned with new and different foods. The result was a 15 pound weight loss prior to his lifting, but Randall was a crowd favorite.

He battled Tallgvist, a huge 345 pound Finn, all the way to the deadlift. Randall made all three deadlifts, up to his [711 pound] for the win and a [2,050 pound] total. Randall felt his big weight loss hurt his lifts, but he did enough for the win." Powerlifting USA, November/2002

    Health and fitness tips
With a New Year and new resolutions starting for many (and ending far too quickly for some), people are getting on the right track for health and fitness. It takes discipline and diligence to meet your goals, so here are a few tips to help in your endeavor to see a leaner, fitter you.

Diet: What kinds and types of foods are you taking in? Those looking for the magic pill to help them lose weight are doing it in reverse. Imagine getting a brand new car and washing it everyday, but never putting gas in it! Instead you buy some super fuel additive and put it in your gas tank. Within a week, your car will look good on the outside but you won't be driving it anywhere! Your car needs the proper fuel and so does your body. High quality proteins and complex carbohydrates with a standard amount of good dietary fats are essential for your body to function properly.

Exercise: If you have been sedentary for a while, start walking. Move somehow, someway. Join a gym, a bicycle or walking club, or anything that involves activity. Walking 30 minutes at least 3 to 4 times a week is a great way to keep your heart healthy and trim up your midsection!

In the next few newsletters, we will get specific in the areas of diets, supplement programs, and exercise programs. Until then, take care of your temple; it's the only one you've got! Of course you should always consult your physician before starting any kind of diet or exercise program.
