The Quarry located in Fredericksburg, Texas, was first opened in 1956 with its main focus to service the cement retarder business. As time progressed a demand for agricultural gypsum became apparent. In the late 1970, Standard Gypsum began marketing Hoe-Down Gypsum Soil Conditioner and bulk agricultural gypsum. We have established our product to be of a consistent superior quality grade of agricultural gypsum.
