The Future

After the restoration of the present sites is completed, the vision of Crosses Across America, Inc., is to erect new clusters of Crosses across the some 45,000+ miles of Interstate highways on North America at fifty-mile intervals (on both sides of the road thus making the Crosses visible every twenty-five miles) and other major highways and thoroughfares. There are also particular sites that cry out for the Crosses. Examples: The lake in South Carolina where the two young boys drowned; the location where the airliner crashed in the Pennsylvania woods, etc.

The new Crosses will be made of a plastic-like material. They will never need repairing. They will withstand 200 mile per hour winds. They will have all the properties of the present Crosses and will be an exact duplication as far as possible. With no need for maintenance, the new Crosses should be able to stand until the Lord returns.

The money for the new Crosses will necessarily come from kind donations of individuals, foundations, churches, etc. Mr. Coffindaffer spent his entire fortune on the first building phase of the Crosses and there are no reserve funds for the future.

No one including the administrative staff will ever seek or receive any financial benefit from Crosses Across America, Inc. Indeed, the office is privately financed. This project itself will cost a tremendous amount of money, time and effort, but it is ordained of the Lord Himself. There is no need to worry. God will touch the hearts of those who will provide the funds and will give the wisdom and direction to those who follow His Command.
