About Us Crosses Across America, Inc., was founded to continue the ministryof the roadside crosses by the late Rev. Bernard Coffindaffer of Craigsville,West Virginia. Using only his own money, Coffindaffer began the erection of theclusters of crosses in September, 1984. Approximately 2000 crosses were built in America, Zambia and the Philippines. The project ended with hisdeath on October 8, 1993. His ministry,Cast Thy Bread, Inc., ceased with no money in reserve. Crosses Across America, Inc., has secured all of Rev.Coffindaffer’s files, photographs, plans, films, etc. With this in hand, the International Headquarters is now located at: 3300
Indiana Avenue, Suite C Crosses Across America, Inc., is an IRS certified andapproved 501(c)(3) organization. Alldonations are tax-deductible. Administrative expenses are underwritten by a private individual. There are no paid employees. All individuals associated with CAA arevolunteers. No one will ever receiveany financial gain from CAA. Crosses Across America, Inc., has completed the one-yearwaiting period and applied for acceptance into the Evangelical Council for FinancialAccountability, a firm that audits ministries. |
